“Crash: On the Run!” has been most downloaded mobile game since its release in March 25, getting 8 million downloads on day 1 with a digital cover from Men’s Journal. Game stars Crash Bandicoot, the goofy character from the classic video game franchise (Btw, Bandicoot it a marsupial endemic to the Australia region).

He starred in titles present in PS1 and PS2.

Success is due to an aggressive marketing campaign and a commitment by game developer King to bring as close to console experience as possible on mobile.

The game is like Temple Run, but features character upgrades, evolving world and boss battles.

Mobile games are becoming fixed in the gaming world and effort has been made to create game full of explosives and rapid action.

It has console-quality animation, VFX(visual effect), and action, as was the comment from folks at King. Besides the catchy visuals, catchy tunes have also been written, such as stepping on bubble-wrap to simulate Crash’s footsteps.

But it has the annoyance of mobile games- ads encouraging you to spend money for a better experience.
